Lemhi's After School Promise PO Box 24
Salmon, Idaho 83467 (208) 756-4009
Lemhi's After School Promise (LASP) is a non-profit organization that provides after-school mentoring for at-risk youth who are in grades 1-6, Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm until 5:30 pm each day. Additionally... LASP provides a Fabulous 4H Friday program that is based on the Cooperative Exension Program's 4H learning paradigm, providing hands-on experiences for youth who are otherwise not engaged in learning opportunties on Fridays due to the school's 4 day school week! This program is open to all Salmon area youth ages 5 and up!
LASP seeks volunteers of all ages. There are opportunties for individuals with a variety of skills and talents.... from listening to a small child practice reading, to helping out with homework - math, science, spelling, reading and history... to playing board games or interacting with crafts and enrichment projects! Volunteers truly ARE the difference with our program!! They provide a caring link between the youth and our community that is vital to the success of our program. You can volunteer once a week or once a year! We value whatever time you have to volunteer here at LASP.
