Rags & Wags Thrift Store is a
cherished Salmon Landmark and serves a vital need--Providing Support for
the Lemhi County Humane Society.
If you love animals, there's no better way to serve Salmon and Lemhi County than by volunteering to help the Lemhi County Humane Society. They are the lifeline that keeps so many dogs and cats alive and well and happy in the hands of new, caring owners. The Rags and Wags Thrift Store is known far and wide as one of Idaho's "must visit" Thrift Stores. Local folks know their donations will help support the Humane Society.
However, it takes a lot of human effort to run a Thrift Store. All those goodies simply don't appear by magic on the shelves of the little store. Nope, it takes people like you and your friends and neighbors to help sort, price and display the generous donations of Salmon City and Lemhi citizens. You can volunteer in many different ways in the Rags and Wags Thrift Store. Whether it's helping receive and process the drop-off donations or the tedious sorting and pricing task, they need your help. Even one or two hours a week can make a great difference in the success of this tiny store with the huge heart. The cash flow from this beloved little legend helps keep countless dogs and cats happy and healthy in the hands of their new owners. If you wish to volunteer, please call Bea Bielby at 756-2482
Update as of 9 pm May 23: The Rags and Wags Webpage is leading the pack on our website! Yes! It's not only leading the SALMON VOLUNTEERS! project visitation, it's leading all of the other pages on our entire Idaho Volunteer website. This is huge news. It means that the loyal and dedicated "Friends of Rags and Wags" in Salmon, Idaho, are actually visiting the website. THANK YOU, Ladies! Keep it up, this is really fun. Spread the word about Rags and Wags! See our note on Twitter about it.
